Deda Shipley
Deda Rae Shipley, 78, of North Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012. She enjoyed reading books, playing board games, working puzzles and visiting with her neighbors.
She is survived by her son, Terry Shipley of Garland, Texas, daughter, Karen Thompson of North Little Rock, daughter, Sherry Mills of North Little Rock, son, Gary Shipley of Medina, Texas and daughter, Carol Yawn of South Carolina; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Yola Mae Mayfield of Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Robert Richardson; husband, Doyle Shipley; and a number of siblings.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Burial will be in Little Rock National Cemetery. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
