Deford Leon "Tootsie" Payne, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Toots was a logger by profession, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a great-grandfather and a great-great-grandfather. Toots is survived by his wife Louise; three sons, Ricky, Lester and Tommy; three daughters, Carolyn, Virginia and Robyn; as well as one sister, Betty Burroughs and many grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
