Delbert Wayne Hurt, 80, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008. He was a 1947 graduate of Little Rock Central, member of Crystal Hill Assembly of God Church and retired from AP&L.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita ?Moore? Violet Hurt; daughter, Debra Caryol Jackson and husband, Byron, of Jacksonville; two sons, Darrell Lynn Hurt and wife Gina, of Sherwood and Delvin DeWayne Hurt and wife, Donna, of Willow Springs, Missouri; grandchildren, Darren Hurt, Dustin Hurt, Dione Capel, April Riley, Alissa Hurt, Amanda Hurt, Jarret Jackson and Cody Jackson; nine great grandchildren and his sister, Shirley Alford, of Youngstown, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
