Dele Wakefield, 95, of Alexander passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was born January 30, 1922 in Perry County to Tom and Mary Cockman Martindale.
She was retired from Western Foods after 30 years of service.
Dele is survived by her son, Billy Wakefield; grandchildren, DeeAnn Shepard (Matthew), Jennifer Ryken (James) and Lisa Dwiggins; and great-grandchildren, Jessica Shepard, Lauren Wood, Jacob Shepard, Ashlea Dwiggins and Tucker Shepard. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband, Claudis Wakefield and her daughter, Barbara Martindale and Joan Wakefield.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Nooner Cemetery, Perry County. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the funeral home.
