DeLois Bolton Damon

DeLois Bolton Damon, 96 of Floyd, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2026. She was born in Franklin, Texas to Pack Cleveland and Donia Bolton on October 4, 1929.

She loved to garden; she was very independent and strong-willed. Delois was a “jack of all trades” and could do anything she set her mind to.

DeLois was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Delton Bolton and J. P. Bolton; three sisters, Verta Hibner, Faye Benton, and Jeanette Ludwig.

She is survived by her sister, Geneva Davis; brother, Brady Bolton; six children, Richard Smith of McGregor, Texas, James Peaden of Thomaston, Georgia, David (Becky) Damon of Floyd, Arkansas, Darlene (Sam) Jolly of Conway, Arkansas, Robert Damon of Floyd, Arkansas and Patricia (Keith Sansom) Myers of Beebe, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and eighteen great-great grandchildren.

Visitation is Monday, July 20th at 1:00 p.m. to be followed by the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry, Beebe, Arkansas. Burial at New Floyd Cemetery in Floyd, Arkansas. View the register at www.smithfamilycares.com
