Mrs. Demoie Mae Moore Campbell, age 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 17th, 2024. She was born May 15th, 1934 in Western Grove, Newton County, Ark. to the late Leslie Carroll Moore and Ora Madeline Gentry. Mrs. Campbell was retired from West Department Store where she was a seamstress. She was a faithful member of Little Rock West Assembly of God; where she taught Sunday School and served for many years in various ministries. Mrs. Campbell was skilled and talented in so many areas, blessing those around her with her gifts and generosity. She was a wonderful cook and best mom, sister, daughter and grandmother and loved by all. She never met a stranger. Mrs. Campbell was married to her late husband, William T. Campbell for 69 years. She is survived by two sons: Leslie Truman Campbell, William Mark Campbell (Lorrie Hicks Campbell); and a daughter Kathy Diane Campbell Thompson (Mark Stuart Thompson). She was Granmoie to seven grandchildren: Valerie Lee Campbell Hargrove, Marla Marie Campbell Coombs, Benjamin Reed Thompson, Rachel Kathryn Thompson McIntyre, William Hunter Ray Campbell, Cole Bratton, Mason Bratton, and Lyndsey Kinsey. She loved all her babies-11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; and one sister Dail Campbell.
She was preceded in death by sisters: Dorothy Davis, Deloris Harris, Delma Tumbleson, Della Ball, Dora Reece; brothers: David Moore, Delbert Moore, Darrel Moore; and one grandson, Brian Campbell. Funeral services will be conducted at Benton First Assembly, 1801 Hwy 5, Benton, Ark. on Saturday, the 27th of January, with family receiving family and friends from 10-11 a.m., followed by service, officiated by Rev. Larry Davis, at 11 a.m. Burial will commence at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark. at 1 p.m. Assisting as pallbearers are Mike Tumbleson, Randy Campbell, Gauge Coomes, Ben Thompson, Hunter Campbell, and Mark Thompson.  Honorary pallbearer is Larry Campbell.
