Desiree Ann Hudspeth

Desiree Ann Hudspeth, passed away March 21, 2024 just ten days following her 64^th birthday.  She left us way before her time and her presence has left a void in our home that can never be filled.  

Desiree leaves behind her husband of 36 years, Ricky Lyn Hudspeth; three children:  Chase Butler (Diana), Danielle Desiree Hudspeth and Rikki Nicole Collier; she was “Mama Bear” to four grandchildren:  Chloe Butler, Bailey Butler, Zavier Collier and Robert “RJ” Stouffer. Her siblings include: Denise Andres (Jon), Dorene James, Donna Aguirre and Donovan Galvan; and she was “Sweet Desi” to several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Desiree was a graduate of North Little Rock High School, and earned a degree as a Medical Assistant.  She was a vivacious soul with lots of personality, and was crowned Miss North Little Rock 1979. She loved music and took great pride in being the housekeeper and nanny for many prestigious families in the Little Rock area.   

Desiree was preceded in death by her parents:  David Provencio, and Gloria and Bernard Galvan; siblings:  Deborah Martin Galvan, and David Galvan; a grandson, Sebastian Hudspeth and a nephew, Ernesto Gabe Hernandez. 

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  A celebration of her life will begin at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 29, 2024 at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park at a later date.
