Dewey Harris Haynie, born December 9, 1927 in Little Rock, Arkansas died March 2, 2009 at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice. He was a retired accountant. Dewey graduated from the University of Arkansas and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, JoAnn Haynie; two daughters, Duanna Harder and her husband, Charles of Bryant and Janie Lee Clark and her husband, Anthony of Bigelow; four grandchildren, Carolyn and Justin Harder and Misty and Ashlee Clark.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock. There will be a closed casket and no visitation.
