Dixie Darlene McDermott, age 58, born December 10, 1952 passed away March 20, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her father; Clifford McElrath and father in law, B.L. McDermott.
Dixie was a very dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, and she was a very loving and giving person who was always ready to do for others. Throughout her thirty five years of cosmetology work, she made many lifetime friends and loyal customers.
She is survived by her loving husband, Pat McDermott; mother, Bertie Lee McElrath; two sons, Brent Hallmark and wife, Gina of Jonesboro and Scott Hallmark of North Little Rock; one brother, Richie McElrath and wife, Wilma of Hoxie; two grandchildren, Adyln Oneal and Hayden Alvin Hallmark; one nephew, Greg McElrath, his wife, Melanie, and their daughter, Riley Ann; mother in law, Clara McDermott; two brothers in laws, Mike McDermott and wife, Debbie and James McDermott and wife, Annette; nephew, Brian; three nieces, Amanda, Leann, and Shelby; one great nephew and three great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265-0309.
