Dois E. "Doc" Harris, 77, of Fairfield Bay passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012. He was a retired General Foreman for ARKLA Gas Company with 31 years of service and was Baptist.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Glenette Harris; daughter, Judy A. Bryan, both of Fairfield Bay; two brothers, Dale Harris, of Michigan and Max Harris, of Sherwood; two grandchildren, Danny Bryan, Jr. and Rachel Bryan, of Fairfield Bay; and one great-grandson, Payton Dois Covington. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Irene Harris; son, Jeffrey Harris; one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
