Dolly Brown

Listen to Obituary
Dolly Brown, age 62, of McRae, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017. She was born in Charleston, Missouri to William Glin and Cora Mae (Barnhill) Carter on June 28,1954.

Dolly made her life beautiful by being a devoted "Giver" and having a big generous heart. She took the time to invest in others, especially her grandchildren. Many hours were spent with them putting together a craft or a project. She was a "Pure Blessing from God", according to her husband, Jim. Dolly enjoyed collecting old water pumps, the kind that required you to grab a hold of the handle and start working it up and down. Her life was a resemblance of just that. She gave the effort or work in her relationships and the love and laughter flowed freely. Dolly will be missed tremendously.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roy and sister, Gail.

Dolly is survived by her husband of forty six years, Jim Brown; three children, Jeremy Brown and wife, Denise, Johnny Brown, and Malinda Talburt; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two sisters, Glenda and Virgie; two brothers, Glen "Junior", Luther and her four legged treasured Chihuahua, Tommy.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with entombment in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
