Donald Frantz, 73, of Sherwood, went to be with God on May 25, 2011. Mr. Frantz was born in Cleveland, OH on September 10, 1937 to Joseph and Ida Murad Frantz.
He was the owner of New Age Distributing and uprooted his family from Ohio to build a successful business in Little Rock. Mr. Frantz was respected by everyone he met. He loved his family, his business and all the employees at New Age very dearly. Mr. Frantz loved the games of football and golf and will be missed dearly.
Mr. Frantz was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister, Janet Yafanaro; and 1 grandson, Brad Reese.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Frantz; 3 daughters, Kim Reese (Robert) of Union Town, OH, Donna McCoy (Mark) of Little Rock, AR and Dawn Robbins of Sherwood, AR; 1 sister, Marion Matuszak of Ridgefield, OH; 2 brothers, Al Frantz (LaDonna) of Ohio and Joe Frantz (Diane) of Ridgefield, OH; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12pm - 2pm on Sunday, May 29, 2011 with the funeral service beginning at 2pm at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or to CCFA.
