Donald Richard Luck

Donald Richard Luck passed away peacefully at his home in Beebe Arkansas on December 15, 2022. Donald was born to Reed and Dorthy Anderson Luck on November 24, 1941, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Don was raised on a dairy farm in Hickory Plains, Arkansas and dairy farmed there himself with his family for a number of years. He then moved to Lonoke, Arkansas where he worked for Arkansas Power and Light (now Entergy) until his retirement on December 31, 2003. After retirement, Don moved to Beebe, Arkansas where he resided until his death. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He was also an avid Razorbacks fan.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Isaac Daniel Luck.

He is survived by his three children, Richard (Beverly) Luck of Evening Shade, Arkansas, Donna (Scott) Poe of Searcy, Arkansas and Keevin (Susan) Luck of Beebe, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Arrica (Matt) Hess, Trinity (Megan) Luck, Caleb Luck, Chris (Katie) Poe, Jessy Poe, Ashton (Chance) Harger and Madison Luck; and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers Calvin (Barbara) Luck of Beebe, Arkansas, and Roger (Beverly) Luck of Cabot, Arkansas, and three sisters, Rita (Dale) Highfill of Carlisle, Arkansas, Jill Patterson of Ward, Arkansas and Janice (Ralph) Garrison of Vilonia, Arkansas.

Visitation will be at the Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, Arkansas on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at 5 p.m. Arrangements by Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W.
