Donna Sue Haskins

Donna Sue Haskins, of Little Rock, passed from this world and claimed her heavenly resting place next to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 13, 2024. Donna was predeceased by her mother, Jerry Sue Carter; father, Loyd Don Marlow; and grandson Bryson Runshe.

Donna was born on October 27, 1957, in Nevada, Missouri. At an early age, she moved with her mother and brother to Little Rock. Following her mother’s footsteps, she decided to pursue her passion for nursing. Donna attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and received her B.S. degree in nursing, followed by earning her certification as a Registered Nurse. She accepted a job at St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little Rock, which blossomed into a 45+ year career of caring for those in need. Donna’s “work family” regularly referred to her as a fountain of knowledge. She loved spending time attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, plays, and music recitals. Donna’s devotion towards helping others was constantly displayed, whether it was through her ministry work with the church, unwavering help of those less fortunate, or compassionate conversations with friends and family about difficult situations. She was as selfless as they come, always putting the wants and needs of others above her own. She was truly, an angel on earth.

Donna was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and wife, leaving behind: three children, Amber Pottenger, Brandon Smith, and Sarah Runshe; stepsons Gregory Haskins and Michael Haskins; five grandchildren, Austin Pottenger, Kaleigh Barnett, Lauren Runshe, Drake Smith, and Carson Runshe; and a husband of 16 years, Brian Haskins. She also leaves behind a brother, Loyd Marlow; and a host of many other beloved relatives and friends.
