Donna Sue Robertson, 85, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away May 14, 2023.  She was born March 8, 1938 in Eldorado, Illinois to the late Ellis Bryan and Susie Edmonia (Davis) Buchanan.

Donna was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Benton Post #2256.  She enjoyed fishing, feeding the deer in her front yard, gardening, and canning.  Donna was an amazing cook and made the best banana nut bread.   She adored her family, and they knew that her fussing and complaining was just the way she showed how much she loved them. 

Preceding Donna in death are her husband, Willie Jo Robertson; siblings:  James Bennett, Edith Virginia Buchanan, Ray Buchanan, and Terry “T-Bone” Buchanan; and nephew, Terry Forrester.

Donna leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Kathy Cook and husband Jeremy of Haskell, Arkansas; grandsons, Glenn Ferrell and Bryan Cook, both of Benton, Arkansas; siblings:  Glenda McGuire of Fontana, California, Leroy Buchanan and wife Eva of Richardson, Texas, Hazel Forrester of Eldorado, Illinois, Robert Buchanan and wife Delores of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Steven Buchanan and wife Mary Jo of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; special friends, Linda and Cody Honeycutt; and a host of family and friends who love Donna and will miss her always.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 17 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR in Alexander, Arkansas.
