Donnie Kizzia, age 83, of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, July 19, 2012. She was born on September 12, 1928, at Prescott, the daughter of Joseph Brice Ferguson and Bertie Etta Mohon Ferguson. On June 23, 1948, she was married to Glen Kizzia who preceded her in death in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her brother, J. W. Ferguson. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Murfreesboro, was a doll maker and an antique doll collector. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Curtis Turner of Murfreesboro; two granddaughters, Beth Perrin of Murfreesboro and Kristen Grant and her husband, Jody, of Bentonville; and five great-grandchildren, Ty Grant, Sloan Perrin, Trevor Grant, Natalie Perrin and Bryce Perrin. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 22, 2012, in the First Christian Church at Murfreesboro with Rev. Bob James officiating. Interment will be in the Murfreesboro Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Nicky Ballard, Henry Ward, Ronnie Cox, Steve Turner, Curtis Turner, Sr. and Jonathan Turner. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
