Dora Jacqueline Green, age 81, of Bismarck died Wednesday August 10, 2011 at the Baptist Medical Center of Arkadelphia. She was born August 26, 1929, in Canton, TX. the daughter of Pat and Hilda Hughes Eves. Jackie was a hair stylist and the previous owner of Arkadelphia and Hot Springs Beauty Colleges and Jackie's Beauty Shop. She was a member of Valley Missionary Baptist Church and Veteran's of Foreign Wars. She and her husband raised registered cattle and pedigree hunting dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Green; three sisters, Millie Baxley, Bonnie Foster, and Betty Youngblood; two brothers, Walter Eves and Duane Eves; and her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Green, and Doug Green and his wife, Kathy; one daughter, Hilda Green all of Bismarck; three sisters, Barbara Grandinetti of Dallas, Texas, JoAnn Pelham of Garland, TX, Pansy Odom of Mabank, TX; six grandchildren, Wendi Green, Flagstaff, AZ, Aaron Green, Hot Springs, Brad Green, Houston, TX, Chad Green, Fayetteville, AR, Shelly Lynch, Bismarck, Charles Moore, Bismarck; 4 great-grandchildren, Cody Smith, Derick Smith, Jaylan Smith, and Callaghan Green,
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Valley Cemetery, Bismarck with Rev. Heather Clawitter officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Aaron Green, Chad Green, Brad Green, Cody Smith, Derick Smith, William King, Jr., Greg King & Chris Grey.
