Doria M. Hale, age 70 of Alexander, passed away October 1st, 2012 at Saline Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 28, 1942 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts; she was the daughter of Warren Sweeney and Theresa Martin Sweeney.
Doria was a teacher in Massachusetts, Ohio and Florida for over 50 years. She was a member of the Catholic Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars and enjoyed gardening, collecting, crocheting and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her children, Denise and Tim Loken, Deborah and Travis Barker, D. Michael and Patricia Greenwood, and Donald and Carol Greenwood; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and siblings, Donna Skomiro and Diane and Matt Holloran.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, October 5th at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Bryant, AR.
Visitation will be Friday October 5th from 10am until 11am at Huson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars National Headquarters, 406 W 34th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111.
