Doris Lindsey

Doris Lindsey, 86, of Austin, Arkansas, was born October 27, 1924, at Moro, Arkansas, to Arthur and Cassie (Darby) Long, and she died Tuesday, May 2, 2011, at Cabot, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles E. Lindsey; son Billy Ray Lindsey; daughter Belva Jean Lindsey; and siblings Vivian, Joe Dean, R. C., Kenneth, A. D. and Buddy.
Doris is survived by daughter, Betty Joe Thompson (Larry) of Austin; son, Charles Edward "Sonny" Lindsey (Marianne) of Greers Ferry; eight grandchildren, Randy Alan Phillips (Karen), Mary Anne Malashevitz, Sharon Rae Miller, Charles Anthony Phillips, Charles Anthony Lindsey and Cindy Jean Carpenter, Shannon Lindsey Tate (Eddie) and Shonda Lindsey Egan (Burke); eleven great-grandchildren, Scot, Amber, Rochelle, Angela Skillings (Jason), Riley, B.J., William, Edmund, Kirsten, Karlie and Kahler; two great-great-grandchildren, Taylor Paige, Faith Lindsey May; sisters Betty Sue and Bonnie; and one brother, Ronnie.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. www.westbrookfuneralhome.com
