Doris White-House

Doris White-House, age 87, of Alpine, died Sunday, May 1, 2011. She was born on November 8, 1923, at Ocala, Florida, the daughter of Ernest Pepper and Nita Crawford Pepper. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Beecher White; and her son Bobby White. She is survived by her husband, Wesley House of Alpine; three children and their spouses, Jackie and Brenda White of DeQueen, Frankie and Luther Jackson and Phyllis and Donny Cogburn, all of Alpine; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Stevens and Etta Mae Cross, both of Florida. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2011, in the Lodi Cemetery with Bro. Billy Thomason officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
