Dorothy (Gubanski) Banaszak, 81, Maumelle of passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, a member of Rosary Solidarity and the Altar Society.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a powerful prayer partner, was loved by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her son, August L. Banaszak, of Maumelle; daughter and son-in-law, Bernice and Mike Allgaier, of Whitehouse, Texas; two brothers, Chester and Joe Gubanski, both of North Little Rock; sister, Leona Beck, of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Emily and Eric Banaszak, of North Little Rock and Kevin and Daniel Allgaier, of Whitehouse, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, August J. Banaszak; parents, John and Frances Gubanski and sister, Connie Malchaski.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Ave., Little Rock, Arkansas 72207 or Immaculate Heart of Mary School, 7025 Jasna Gora Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. A vigil service will be held 6:30 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
