Dorothy (Dottie) Kolb Mosley, age 87, died December 31, 2017. Born July 17, 1930, in Kansas City, Missouri, she is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gerald (Jerry) Mosley and her three children, Scott Mosley (Sharon) of Little Rock, Arkansas, David Mosley (Sue) of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Robin Mosley Christ (Randy) of Simpsonville, South Carolina.
She is also survived by three grandchildren, Dayna Mosley of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Daniel Christ (Amy) of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Caroline Christ (Nathan Salley) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and one great-grandson, Benjamin Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Velma and Ralph Kolb and her brother, Ralph Kolb Jr.
Dorothy will be remembered for her deep love of her family and her beloved pets over the years. Her kindness, compassion, and empathy for others served as a beacon of light for her family and she will be greatly missed. She was a 1951 graduate of the University of Kansas where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. She was a former member of Little Rock's Grace Lutheran Church and is a current member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park on Saturday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Dorothy's name, to the Pulaski County Humane Society. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the caregivers at Parkway Village and Arkansas Hospice.
