Dorothy M. Ehlebracht, born on September 7, 1933, in Watertown, South Dakota, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dorothy was a beloved figure in her community, known lovingly as a "Watkins Lady" for her dedication to selling Watkins products. Her compassionate spirit was evident through her care for her late husband, Leo, during his decline in health.
A charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Dorothy was deeply involved in her faith. She attended daily Mass and served as a lector, exemplifying her commitment to her beliefs and community. Her passion for helping those in need was evident; she had a big heart for the homeless and less fortunate and was a strong advocate for pro-life causes.
Dorothy's journey through life took her from South Dakota to Little Rock, Arkansas, where she enjoyed a mild climate and proximity to the veterans hospital. During her time in South Dakota, Dorothy and Leo shared many years together before relocating due to his health needs.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Theresa Williams, and her brother, Joseph Cordell. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Dora, her husband Leo Ehlebracht, and her siblings, Josephine Lauen, Mark Cordell, and Elizabeth McWhorter.
