Dorothy M. Fisher, 84, of the Oak Grove community went to be with the Lord and her husband August 23, 2020. She was born to Charles and Ruth Greenwalt on August 11, 1936 in Hazen, Arkansas.
She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, where she loved to sing in the choir. Dorothy enjoyed cooking and canning and loved to travel. She cherished time spent with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Billy; brothers Roy Greenwalt, Harold Greenwalt, and Morris Greenwalt; sister Velma Holmes; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Joseph Fisher; and one great grandson, Alec Allison.
Dorothy is survived by four children, Mark (Shellie) Fisher, Tim Fisher, Jon (Eva) Fisher, and Rena Fisher; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; brothers Dale and Dorris Greenwalt; one sister, Joyce Taylor; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2020 at New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
