Dorothy Boone Halsell, 66, of Conway passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013. She was a 1965 graduate and home coming queen of Blytheville High School and a member of Church of Christ. She retired from the banking industry and was co-owner of The Dixie Pig in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Halsell; son, John Ernest Halsell; two daughters, Christianne Hilburn and Tina Margaret West; eight grandchildren, Alex Hilburn, Megan Reeves, Katie Halsell, Jacob West, Molly Hilburn, Melissa Halsell, Brady West and Harrison West; brother, Bill Boone (Ellen Lee); sister, Kathy McManis; and beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rosa Boone and her brother, David Boone.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Arkansas, 1100 N. University Ave., Ste. 255, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
