Dorothy Soricone
Dorothy Elaine Everts Soricone, 84, of Monticello, passed on May 22, 2024. She was born October 1, 1939 in Schuylerville, NY to Kenneth and Elaine Everts.
She earned her PHD in Sociology and taught Sociology at Arizona State University. She moved to Monticello 20 years ago, and taught Sociology at University of Arkansas, Monticello.
Dorothy was an avid researcher, had multiple publications in her field, and was working on a paper when she passed.
She is survived by her daughter, Sue Polovina; her grandson, Sam Polovina; and her son, Robert Soricone.
