Dorothy Stallard

Dorothy M. Stallard, 93 of Cabot passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 and met her savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Cabot. She was born October 13, 1924 in Hot Springs, AR to the late Edward and Elsie Mae Johnson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Dee Johnson and Ray E. Johnson; and her sister, Vena Porter.
Dorothy is survived by her husband W. Ray Stallard of 57 years; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Windhorst (Warren); sons, Mark A. Stallard (Amber) and David Stallard; sister, Freda Patterson (Galen); grandchildren, Valerie Lambe (Colin), Christy Maness (Matt), Joshua Stallard, Carlie Stallard; great-grandchildren, Aidan Lambe, Amy Lambe, Avery Freeman and London Maness; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a volunteer worker for the Braille Team in her church in Searcy, Arkansas. She was retired from the Defense Civil Service, having worked on various military installations for a period of 30 years.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 24, 2018, followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 P.M. at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home Chapel, 7700 Hwy 107. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
