Dorothy Wilk

Dorothy S. Wilk, 74, of North Little Rock passed away on February 28, 2026. She was born June 29, 1952 in North Little Rock to Valentine and Martha Wilk.

Dorothy worked for the State of Arkansas for over 40 years, retiring as a state auditor. She loved her Catholic faith and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Marche.

Dorothy’s passion and favorite job was collecting recycle. She was known by name at the recycling centers where she often brought the employees popsicles and water on hot days. She was recognized throughout her community as a helper and supporter. She collected scrap metal which she sold to gather money for the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, having raised thousands of dollars. She would gather discarded bicycles from the community and donate them to Recycle Bikes for Kids, where they were repaired and gifted back to children in the community. She was a lover of Mexican food, the Catholic faith and her Polish heritage.

What Dorothy loved most of all was her family. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Randy Ashley, her nephew Nathan Ashley and his wife, Samantha, her niece, Mary Eubanks and her husband, Price; great nephews, Tucker and Merritt Ashley, and baby boy Eubanks due to arrive in September, along with a large and loving extended family and great friends.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, March 9, 2026 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with rosary following at 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM at the church with burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
