Douglas Maltby
Douglas R. Maltby, 95, died in Little Rock on November 23, 2013. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut and lived for many years in Decatur, Georgia. He was most recently a resident of Hot Springs Village until moving to Little Rock in August 2013.
He was a glider pilot in WWII and flew in the Holland and Operation Market Garden invasions.
He was predeceased by his wife Shirley in 1996. He is survived by wife Gloria; daughters Sarah Harman, Patricia Richardson and Ann Kirkland; and nephew Peter Maltby.
Interment will be in the Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Georgia.
