Douglas Jack Palise

Douglas Jack Palise, age 22, of Hot Springs, passed away on September 13, 2023.

He was born on May 23, 2001, in Hot Springs, the son of Jack Donald Palise and Mamie K. Jones.  On July 24, 2021, he married Alexis Neal.

Douglas was a 2019 graduate of Hot Springs High School where he was in the IB classes.  He attended National Park College for two years.  He worked at Harps and Alliance Rubber Company.  He was baptized at Gospel Light Baptist Church and a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church.  He enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School.  Douglas really enjoyed playing video games with his brothers and friends.  Some of the other things he enjoyed was reading, playing word and number games.

He is survived by his wife, Alexis Palise; his mother and stepfather, Mamie and Mikel Blake, of Hot Springs; his father, Jack Donald Palise, Clearwater, Florida; his brother, Josh Palise; his grandmother, Judy Jones, of Hot Springs; his aunt, Margaret Sidener and Richie, of Wichita, Kansas; his uncle, John Albert Weil and Cristyn, of Yuma, Arizonis; extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Visitation will be 2:00PM until 2:45PM, Monday, September 18, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs, located at 2205 Airport Road.

Following the visitation, a graveside service with John McCallum officiating in the Greenwood Cemetery, 701 Greenwood Avenue, Hot Springs. The service will begin at 3:00 p.m., as we gather to honor the life of this extraordinary individual.

Pallbearers are Mikel Blake, Josh Palise, Bobby Neal, Bobby Neal, III, Alejandro Guzman and Jesse Neal.
