Douglas Ray Pierce, 55, of Sherwood, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013. He was a member of the Apostolic Church in North Little Rock and was employed for 28 years at Sysco Foods as a National Accounts Director. Douglas loved his church, family, friends, the Razorbacks, and playing golf.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debbie Hale Pierce; two sons, Brent Pierce (Emily) of Little Rock and Bradley Pierce of Sherwood; three grandchildren, Maddox, Addison and Luke Pierce all of Little Rock; mother, Sue Pierce Fuller of Rockwall, Texas; brothers, Blake Pierce of Magnolia and Scotty Pierce of Rogers; sister, Susan Jackson of Heath, Texas; and a host of other family and friends. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, James Pierce.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Apostolic Church, North Little Rock. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home.
