Doyce Hershel Robbins, age 83, of Bonnerdale, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

He was born on July 17, 1940, in Bonnerdale, Arkansas, the son of Hershel and Clara Buck Robbins.  Doyce was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Charlene Robbins; his sister-in-law, Diane Robbins; his daughter, Jill Robbins; and his grandsons, Joey Daniels and Jeremy Robbins.

He married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Tucker, on January 28, 1961.  He was a loving husband, father and Papa.  He retired from AP&L/Entergy after 36 years of service.  He was a devoted member, adult Sunday school teacher, and Deacon of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the Mazarn Chapel Cemetery Board of Directors.  He also served in the United States Army Reserves. 

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pat Robbins; his children, Deborah Robbins of Bonnerdale, Steven and Beth Robbins of Poland, Ohio, and Matthew and Linda Robbins of Westfield, Maine; his grandchildren, Derrick and Angela Daniel of Bonnerdale, Courtney and Conrad Weaver of Danville, Alabama, Nathan and Brenda Robbins of Danville, Alabama, Ben and Breanna Robbins of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Nathanael Robbins of Poland, Ohio, Qin Robbins of Poland, Ohio, Mark and Noah Robbins both of Westfield, Maine; his great-grandchildren, Marcus, Karli and Ezra Daniels of Bonnerdale, Karson, Kendall, Kingston Robbins, Jordan and Easton Weaver of Danville, Alabama, Bentley, Bradley and Brian Robbins of Tuscumbia, Alabama; his brothers, Johnny Robbins of Hot Springs and Dr. David and Sherry Robbins of Pearcy; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 2702 Mt. Moriah Road, Bonnerdale, Arkansas, with Bro. Wesley Howard officiating under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in the Mazarn Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and his great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers, Doyce requested donations to be sent to Mazarn Chapel Cemetery, P.O. Box 2, Bonnerdale, AR  71933.
