Doyle Ball of East End Community went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 13th, 2012 at the age of 88. Doyle was born June 2, 1924 in Grapevine, Arkansas to Herbert and Ruth Ball. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served his country as a gunner on a Liberty Ship.
Doyle was an avid fisherman and camper. He also enjoyed traveling to Branson for the country music shows.
Mr. Ball was preceded in death by his wife Alline Ball, two brothers Wilburn and Thurman Ball, and his sister Lucille Holloway. He is survived by a sister, Jewell Burleson of East End Community. He was the father of two children, Brenda Warner from Locust Grove, Arkansas, and Larry Ball of Little Rock. He had four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Visitation will be 6 pm to 8pm Friday, November 16, at Huson Funeral Home, 6400 Mabelvale Pike in Little Rock.
Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, November 17th, at East End Baptist Church, located in the East End Community.
