Dr. Elton D. Harper

Dr. Elton D. Harper, age 91, of Glenwood, died Friday, January 28, 2011. He was born on September 2, 1919, at Mount Pleasant, Texas, the son of George W. Harper and Lola Willson Harper. On November 23, 1972, he was married to Shirley Gamble. He was a retired Chiropractor, a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corp and a member of the Glenwood United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Harper of Glenwood; four children, Thomas Harper of Houston, Texas, Terry Lynn Harper of Denver, Colorado, Christine Gambardello of New Jersey and Mindy Hooper of Norman; and nine grandchildren.
