Duane Oliver Gathright
Duane Gathright, 84, of North Little Rock passed away January 28, 2025. He was born in Wynne, Arkansas on August 8, 1940. Duane served in the United States Navy and attended Ouachita Baptist University. He was an avid reader and book collector. And a devoted dog lover. Duane owned a Corvette Stingray and loved any classic sports car. He liked classic rock and country music, as well as watching TV shows about yachts and sailing. Duane will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Linda Simmons Gathright; their only daughter, Stephanie Johns; two grandsons, Dylan Johns and Aiden Johns.
Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 6th at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside Service is at 3:00 PM, Friday, February 7th at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
