Dudley Eugene Bryan, Jr., 86, of Benton, Arkansas passed away October 27, 2021. He was born on June 18, 1935, in Warren, Arkansas to the late Dudley Bryan, Sr. and Dorothy (Gibson) Bryan.
Dudley was a hard worker who owned a painting business and he also worked in maintenance and commercial construction. Dudley had a great personality and was fun to be around. He had a great singing voice and often sang karaoke. Dudley enjoyed going to Oaklawn in Hot Springs to watch the races and try his luck at the casino. With Dudley, it was “his way or no way” and he was true to himself, always doing his own thing.
Preceding Dudley in death are his wife, Maxine Bryan; parents, Dudley and Dorothy Bryan, Sr.; brother, Donald Bryan; and sister, Diane Bryan.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Dudley Eugene “Trey” Bryan of Lonoke, Arkansas; daughter, Sandy Springfield of Jacksonville, Arkansas; grandchildren: McKenzie Bryan, Mason Bryan, and Macie Bryan; brother, Danny Bryan and his wife Kathy of Magnolia, Arkansas; sister, Dorlyne Davidson of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and a host of family and friends who love Dudley and will miss him always. Dudley’s children not listed in this obituary are asked to contact the funeral home by Monday, November 1st.
Following Dudley’s wishes, no formal funeral services are planned.
