Dwight L. Goodwin

     Dwight L. Goodwin, 77, passed from complications of Parkinson’s, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. He was born February 13, 1945. Jesus gave many blessings to him on his journey.

     Dwight grew up in North Little Rock with his parents, Everett Goodwin and Alleene Mobley Goodwin, both deceased, and his brother, Travis (Phyllis). After college he married Joanne Huard and celebrated 54 years of marriage this year. 

     Dwight’s life was filled with family, friends, church, work, Bible studies and the love of the outdoors. He passed his love of the outdoors to his three sons; Whit (Gayle) of Little Rock, Matt (Nahir) of Albuquerque, NM, and Ben (Erin) of Fayetteville. 

     In retirement, Dwight’s great joy was his five grandchildren: Isabella, Joseph, Violet, Enora and E.J. He also enjoyed taking communion to the sick. 

     A Rosary will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00.
