Earlene Ledbetter Thacker age 71 of Caney, AR died Friday, January 29, 2010 at her home. She was born October 17, 1938 the daughter of Earl and Lois Martin Ledbetter. She was retired from DeGray State Park and a member of the Caney Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Elvin "Cotton" Thacker.
Survivors include four sons, Danny, Darrell, Terry, and Brian Thacker all of Caney, two brothers, Ronnie Ledbetter of Donaldson and Doug Ledbetter of Caney, one sister Pam Whitley of Magnet Cove, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday in the Caney Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Robert Cossey officiating. Burial will be in the Caney Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Saturday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Memorials may be to the Caney Cemetery Fund.
