Earlene T. Wawak, 76, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, April 27, 2009. She was born in Pearson, Arkansas to the late Henry and Annie Iris Turney. She was a member of Graves Memorial Baptist Church, previously worked for GMAC and was owner/operator of Oak Grove Mini Mall.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Wawak; grandchildren, Kent ?Shawn? Wawak and his wife, Jennifer and Monique Wawak, all of North Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Anthony Wawak, Jackson Elliott and Aireas Wawak; sister June Johnson; and sister-in-law, Vada Shelton, both of North Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Billy J. Wawak and her brother, Lisle Turney.
Memorials may be made to Graves Memorial Baptist Church, 4617 Oak Grove Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118 or Arkansas Children Hospital, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M, Wednesday at Graves Memorial Baptist Church. Graveside service will be 1:30 P.M., at Pearson Cemetery in Pearson, Arkansas.
