Earnest Alman Miller, Sr., 65, of Houston, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013. He was born September 1, 1947 in Little Rock to David Lee and Margaret Louise Miller.
He was owner/operator of a landscaping business, fireman, a veteran of the United States Navy serving in Vietnam and stationed on the USS Enterprise. Earnest was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. He was a very talented artist who loved woodcarving, crafts and a musician who played the guitar. Earnest was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Donna Miller; daughter, Melissa Bryant (Stephen) of Covington, Louisiana; sons, Earnest Miller, Jr. of North Little Rock and Joshua Cole Miller of Houston; parents; brother, Clyde Miller of Little Rock; grandchildren, Colin Miller and Lauren Tyner.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. in Harmony Cemetery Hwy 10,in Perry County.
