Earnestene Franklin, age 67, of Amity died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at her home. She was born February 26, 1943 in Hot Spring County Arkansas the daughter of the late Guy and Rellie Hardin Whitley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Franklin; two brothers, Dean Whitley, Lyndle Whitley; two sisters, Charlotte Francis and Delphine Wright.
Survivors are three sons, Brian Crawford of Austin, Texas, Boyd Franklin of Amity, Bobby Franklin of Hot Springs; three brothers, Merlon (Earlene) Whitley, Don (Brenda) Whitley all of Malvern; Milton Whitley of Okolona; two sisters, Bernice Smith of Hot Springs, Earlene Phillips of Skiatook, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 1st at Jones Cemetery at Amity. No formal visitation will be held.
