Ed Larry Carlin, 80, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away December 10, 2017. He was born November 18, 1937 in Arma, Kansas to the late Ed & Edra Jones Carlin. He graduated from Arma High School, received a degree from Pittsburg State University, and served in the United States Air Force. He was a district engineer for the locomotive division of General Motors for 29 years, calling on various railroads.
He enjoyed model railroading, camping, reading, boating, traveling, and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy Wilbert Carlin; two sons, John (Tanya) and Steve (Jennifer); two daughters, Kathy Beaver and Kristi Fohl (Mark); 10 grandkids, Marguerite Leonard (Michael), Anna Fahl, Alex Fahl, Sarah Fahl, Lauren Beaver, Alyssa Beaver, Matthew Beaver, Andrew Beaver, Jacob Carlin, and Julia Carlin.
Memorials may be made to Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson Research, Arkansas Hospice, or Charity of your choice.
