Gene Eddie Turley, Jr., 49, of Little Rock, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sutton Turley; sons, Chance and Aaron Turley; daughter, Regina Nicole Turley; parents, Gene Turley, Sr. and Mildred Ballard; brothers, Carl W. Turley, Darryl Turley and Roy L. Ballard, Jr.; sisters, Barbara J. Negrete, Tonya R. Tourtillotte and Theresa Messmer; grandson, Alex Clayton Turley; three step-children; four step-brothers; five step-grandchildren; and paternal grandmother, Ila Stanley. Gene was an avid fisherman and deer hunter.
Visitation will be this evening, Thursday, October 26, from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Bill Keesling. Burial with military honors will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 30, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
