Edith Marie McClure, 90 of Gurdon, AR. died Saturday October 19, 2013. She was born September 4, 1923, to Lillie and Luther Jackson of Gurdon. She was preceded in death by her husbands Lonzo Marion Sr. and Lester E. McClure; one daughter, Helen Marion; and son Danny Marion.
Survivors include; daughter Patricia Brashear; sons, John McClure, Lester McClure and wife Susan, Lonzo Marion and wife Joyce, Larry, David and Bobby Marion, son-in-law Brett Kahle and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marie was a member of the Center Point Baptist Church and worked in the Gurdon area for most of her adult life, making many friends in the process. She was a guiding force in the lives of her family and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm. Tuesday October 22, at South Fork Cemetery with Pastor Ollie Trout officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday October 21 at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.
