Edith Sorrels, 84, of North Little Rock, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007. She was born October 23rd, 1923. She was retired from the North Little Rock School Food Service.
Edith is survived by two sons, Wayne Sorrels of Atlanta, Georgia and Gary Sorrels of Phoenix, Arizona; two granddaughters, Shannon Sorrels of Washington D.C. and Amy Stephenson of Houston, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Scott and Hannah Stephenson of Houston, Texas and her special loving caregiver, Larry Ringgold. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Sorrels, her parents, brother, Lloyd Ringgold and grandson, Patrick Sorrels.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Her nephews will be her pallbearers. Family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
