Edmond (Eddie) Garrett, Jr., 62, of Little Rock passed away to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 24, 2008. He is survived by his mother, Molly Belle (Harrod) Garrett, of Little Rock; sister and brother-in-law, Velta and Jim Shipps, of Little Rock; two nieces, Gina Vaught (Eric) of Springdale and Lynne Penn (Jeff) of Benton; and nephew, Clay Shipps (Karina) of Baltimore, Maryland. Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Edmond Garrett.
Eddie attended Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to be outdoors, his hobby was gardening and he liked to fish. He had a love for his animals, including his chickens, two dogs and two cats.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
