Edna Marie "Ma" (Heifner) Brown, 90, of Little Rock, passed away July 4, 2014. She was born September 9, 1923 in Sedgwick, Arkansas to Richard David and Cora Bell (Lee) Brown.
"Ma" loved jewelry. She said it brought out her Indian blood. She loved working in the yard, hunting, fishing, or just sitting and watching nature. She enjoyed dressing up her dolls. "Ma" saw beauty in everything.
"Ma" was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Curtis, and a grandson, Kevin Brown. She is survived by her two sons, Victor Brown and his wife, Dianne, of Little Rock, and Charles Brown and his wife, June, of Little Rock; her granddaughter, Kim Moore (Brian) of Little Rock; her Grandson, Tyler Corpier, also of Little Rock; her sisters Mamye Simpson of Benton and Pat Robinson of North Little
Rock; a brother, Richard (Dick) Heifner of Little Rock, and a host of other family members and friends. "Ma" will be missed terribly, but we rejoice in knowing that we will see her again one day, fishing on the shores of the river of life in Heaven.
