Edna Mae Temple

Edna Mae Temple, age 91, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away March 16, 2024, in Vilonia. She was born December 25, 1932, in Oden, Arkansas to Columbus and Dora King.

She was the Executive Assistant to several Wing Commanders at the Little Rock Air Force Base her entire career. She and Brad also had several small businesses on the side. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and traveling in their RV all over the United States.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bradley (the love of her life), daughter-in-law Jeanna and one granddaughter Jennifer.
Those left to cherish her memory include three sons: David and wife Phyllis, Brad Jr. and wife Tracy and Barry Temple. Also, two grandsons, Brandon and wife Rachel and Ty Temple, four great-grandchildren, Mason, Easton, Vaida, and Prescott Temple, two sisters Jessie Richards and Donna (Gene) Garner and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The American Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

The family would like to thank Stormi Reynolds and Melissa Willis at Nightingale Cottage in Vilonia for their loving care of Edna at the end.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107) with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
