Edna Dee Marie Burroughs Thompson age 86 of Bismarck died Wednesday, February 27, 2013. She was born at Bismarck, March 13, 1926 the daughter of Dee Melvin and Birdie Beatrice Ashley Burroughs. She was a member of the Bismarck Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Harris Thompson, one son, Donnie Lair Sr., six brothers, Eugene, Birl, Floyd, R. B., Haskel, and Lloyd Burroughs, three sisters, Pauline Montgomery, Jewel Hardage, and Hazel McDaniel.
Survivors include two sons, Gary (Donna) Thompson of Mt. Olive, AL and Robert (Jessica) Thompson of Bismarck, four grandchildren, Adam and Nathan Thompson, Dana Taylor and Donnie Lair Jr., three great grandchildren, Nicholas Lair, Sarah Lair, and Tony Taylor, one great great granddaughter, Catherine Rose Taylor, one brother, Wayne (Barbara) Burroughs of Bismarck.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, March 2nd at the Bismarck Pentecostal Church with Brother Van Glidewell officiating. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday evening at Ruggles-Wilcox in Arkadelphia.
