Edward W. Allen, Jr. 70, of Benton, AR, Passed away December 25, 2017. He was born June 28, 1947 to the late Edward W. Allen, Sr. and Helen Marie Cummings Allen.
Edward was a Veteran serving in the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Benton. He had worked many years in the grocery store business and was a Gideon distributing many Bibles throughout his years.
Edward is preceded in death by his brother; Edwin Earl Allen. He is survived by his wife of twenty years Janice Allen of Benton; four brothers: George Allen and Lloyd Allen of Little Rock, David Allen and Charles Allen of Nevada.
Graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gideon's International C/O Bob Paxton, Treasurer at 5219 Congressional Dr, Benton, AR. 72019-3485
